Divorce lawyer Sarah, founder of SKB Law, has launched a new podcast called Family Matters, hoping to open up conversations around divorce, separation and everything that goes along with it.
About Family Matters
Join divorce lawyer, Sarah Khan-Bashir as she talks to guests about coparenting, telling family members about your divorce or dealing with the stigma of divorce. We share insights about planning a divorce, protecting your finances or looking after your mental health. Raw, inspirational, heartfelt and sometimes funny, this is a podcast for anyone in need of some advice and hope. The show is hosted by Sarah and produced by Mandip. Thank you for listening.
Speaking about the podcast, Sarah said: “I’ve been helping people for over 23 years as a solicitor. I know that early legal advice can help tackle problems before they happen. By listening to my guests, people with lived experience of divorce, I hope that Family Matters can offer some practical advice but also shift the conversation around divorce and separation. There’s still a stigma attached to divorce which can make it harder for the person going through it. We have to change how we talk about relationships and divorce”.
